EFT – EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is a gentle yet extremely effective method that uses tapping on acupressure points to help release emotional blockages, limiting beliefs, and old pains that we carry within ourselves.

My approach to EFT is in-depth and holistic.

It is not just about alleviating unpleasant feelings, but about a safe and compassionate journey into those parts of yourself that may have been pushed into the shadows, parts that cry out for attention, acceptance, and love. Together, we recognize them, accept them, and gradually integrate them back into your whole self.

In addition, I incorporate a transpersonal and multidimensional aspect into the process, which elevates EFT to an even deeper level. While tapping, I connect with the unconditional loving source energy and invite your higher self to participate in the process. This connection allows limiting views, beliefs, or feelings to gently transform into the broader consciousness of love, wisdom, and truth of your soul. In this safe and supportive space, a holistic transformation takes place—from inner separation back to inner connection.

“When you tap, you are not just changing your thoughts – you are changing your energy, your biology, and your relationship to the world.”

Dawson Church, author of The Genie in Your Genes and one of the leading researchers in EFT

Tapping is also a wonderful practice for independent exploration and emotional first aid when facing everyday challenges. But when we touch deeply rooted patterns from childhood, the support of a therapist is crucial because the inner child often finds it easier to trust an external authority than an internal voice. In a safe relationship, he/she opens up to those parts that he/she would not be able to embrace on their own.

How does an EFT session work?

Every EFT session is unique and tailored to you, your feelings, your story, and the pace you can handle at that moment.

We begin by discussing what you are currently experiencing, where you feel tension or emotional blockages. Together, we will identify thoughts, feelings, or physical responses, which we will then address with tapping; gentle, rhythmic touching of specific acupressure points on the face, upper body, and fingers.

While tapping, I guide you with words that help your body and subconscious recognize, accept, and gradually dissolve what is limiting you.

Since my work also involves working with the shadow and inner parts of the personality, the space is often dedicated to dialogue with the inner child, wounded parts, or the inner critic, internalized parents, or other significant figures; always with tenderness, compassion, and deep respect for your story. In doing so, I connect with unconditional loving source energy and invite your Higher Self to participate in the process.

The meeting takes place in a safe and confidential space where there is no right or wrong, just you, exactly as you are at this moment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to have previous experience with tapping?
No, not at all. We’ll go through the whole process together, gently, clearly, and at your own pace. I’ll guide you, you just follow and feel.

How do I know if EFT is right for me?
If you feel like you’re stuck in old stories and can’t move forward, or if you’re often overwhelmed by strong emotions, keep returning to the same painful patterns, or feel inner tensions that you can’t explain, then EFT may be a very suitable technique for you. Especially if you are willing to look inside yourself with curiosity and courage.

What if I feel strong emotions or start crying during the session?
That’s perfectly fine – in fact, it’s often part of the process of release and healing. Every emotion is welcome. I am here to create a safe space where all parts of you can express themselves in whatever way feels most appropriate.

How many sessions will I need?
This varies greatly from person to person. Sometimes, just one or two sessions can bring about significant change, but for deeper patterns, more sessions are recommended. Together, we will assess what you need and what suits you best.

Can I tap on my own at home?
Of course – EFT is a wonderful self-help technique. I will teach you how to use it in everyday situations. However, when it comes to deeply rooted issues (e.g., childhood wounds, inner child, strong emotions), the inner parts often respond better to external support, so in these cases it may be more advisable to work with support – at least in the first steps of touching these wounds, but this is not an absolute rule.
